A lakeside mountain retreat in the woods yet close to everything! Mallard Cove is a large mountain side cabin on 3+ acres. Lake access from property while nestled amongst the trees on 5+ acre lake. This cabin is located in popular Tobacco Branch Village.
Good to know
On the Main level, there is a Living Room (with fireplace) next to the Kitchen/Dining area. There is a Master Bedroom/Bath, Large covered porch, Large Deck in front. Upstairs has two bedrooms and bath. There is a Charcoal BBQ grill and firepit for the adventurous.
Other Details to Note
We are dog lovers and want you to be able to bring your beloved dog with you to Mallard Cove. Please help us to allow this perk by following the following procedures and expectations regarding dogs. Dogs may be allowed with approval from hosts. Please indicate #, type, and a little about your dogs when requesting to book. No dogs are allowed in the bedrooms or on any furniture. Please do not allow to bark excessively or be allowed off leash when walking in the community common areas (large grass valley, the lake, or trails) in the valley. Always pick up after your dog. Dogs must be crated at night and when unattended. If you do not follow the pet rules, you will lose all or part of your deposit. There is a $60 one time pet fee, per dog, per stay. If undeclared, and you bring them without paying before arrival, you will be charged $450. PLEASE get our pre-approval and pay the pet fee. Thank you🐶

This home has it all and a small lake. Easy access. The community offers a Pavilion for family outings, 2 shuffleboard courts to entertain the family after a day of sightseeing or hiking trails. There is a large field for family fun and fishing, kayaking, and swimming in the small lake area. 5 minutes from several area attractions including 29 mile long Fontana lake with more than 240 miles of shoreline.

FREE public ramp to launch powerboats and canoes/kayaks. 15 minutes - Nantahala Outdoor Center for kayaking, rafting, zip-lining, and horseback riding! 15 minutes - restaurants, tourist shopping, and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad in Bryson City. 20 minutes - river tubing at Deep Creek. 25 minutes - casino at Cherokee for gambling or top name music performers. Our Western North Carolina location is just over an hour to Asheville and 3 hours to Atlanta. 25 minutes to Fontana Dam and Village or the "Tail of the Dragon" Within 20-45 minutes of many quaint mountain towns (Waynesville, Sylva, Dillsboro, Cherokee, Franklin, Murphy, Santeetlah Lake).
